Day 26: Five ways to win your heart.

1. Chocolate. Just hand over the chocolate then we will be BFFL.

2. Buy me food. I am always hungry. The way to my heart is through my stomach.

3. Make me laugh. I may look like April Ludgate with my resting angry/sad face (notice, it is not bitchy because my face looks angry/sad instead of bitchy for some reason).

4. Be passionate about something important to you. I love people who are passionate about something. They are inspiring people.

5. Chocolate. Seriously, if you didn't listen to the first one then you really should. Additionally, please use this photo as your reference point. This guy is a forever hero.

Day 19: Discuss your first love.

From the earliest as I can remember, animals are my first love. I love animals, I wanted to be a veterinarian, then a zookeeper. I once wanted to set up a website that contains an alphabetic list of all animals in the world, so it would be easy for people to find information of any animals they looked for. I gave up after about 50 'A's animals. Eventually I wandered through choices of interior designer, photojournalist, wedding planner, and some other random careers. I forgot about my passion about animals because the life is happening and I had a lot on my plate.

I couldn't decide a major when I entered the college, I had no idea what I wanted. I thought about having a science career so I enrolled into undecided science major and had sampling of each majors that the college has. During the sampling period, biology was the only lecture I stayed awake through.

Hence, I became a biology major. That is still too broad, there are many fields within the major - cellular, molecular, genetics, ecologist, zoologist, micro-, macro-, and many more. I found an elective biology class, animal behavior. In that class, I fell in love with animals all over. I found my passion, my calling within animals and the environment.

I immersed myself into studies that geared toward zoology and I always felt excitement when I have to research about an animal for a class. Now, I am working toward to have a career that revolves around animals and environment.

So, the saying "you never forget your first love" is true. I never forgot mine (although it was ignored for a while).

Day 11: What are you excited about?

Are you kidding me? I am excited about many things! I can go on and on forever. So, I am going to talk about one thing instead..

There are three weddings that I am attending within a year and I am very excited to see them getting their happily ever after!

One of them, I am a bridesmaid in a wedding (and J is my date!). That wedding is in 60 days as of tomorrow, it is for my older cousin who grew up with me. I am very excited for her, I had looked up her and other two older cousins while growing up.

It also means I get to see rest of my family again. Most of us are living all over the country after growing up together for 20+ years in the same town. It would be great to have all of my cousins on my dad's family side to be together again... we might or might not binge-watching 007 movies, playing some N64 games, or whatever. You know, just girly stuff. I miss my cousins dearly. I am excited to see my grandma again, and rest of my aunts and uncles. And of course, my parents. It would be a very boisterous weekend.

Also, because of this wedding, I will be finally home after nearly a year and I'll get to see my brother after a year as well. I have not seen my brother since last December for Christmas. It had been a record for longest time that I have not seen him. It would be nice to finally see him and spend some time with him.

As for other two weddings, they are summer weddings on two sides of country; east coast then west coast. It is going to be a fun summer!

The east coast wedding, I'll finally get to see my friend that I hadn't seen since we graduated from college... It had been more than two years now. This time, I am going to watch her getting her happy ending. I couldn't be more excited about that, being able to celebrate with her and other friends.

The west coast wedding is all about two awesome girls getting married. From what they told me, it was an unexpected and it ended up being something much more. I am happy for them and I know it is going to be a fun wedding. With them, there is never a dull moment.

I probably will be bawling lot this year, I should start stocking up tissues...
