It seems like blogging is 'the thing' right now and I normally not the one to jump on the bandwagon but this one seems to be like a fun.
I already have a Tumblr account and when I started Tumblr, I thought I would become a pro-blogger. I thought I would write lots of blogs and such. It wasn't until I realized that Tumblr is often used for pictures and GIFs (not like I am complaining at all, I love GIFs).
I wanted a blog so I have stuff to write.
I have no idea how get people to read my blogs or whatever. Of as right now, the blog would be about what's on my mind. The blog would consist of random posts of what I am doing during the time of me finding my place in the world (hence the name of the blog).
What's bouncing around in my mind right now:
I am nearing the day when I graduate from my college and move on into post-college life. Of as right now, I have absolutely no plans of what to do after the graduation. I decided to not go to graduate school, even though I really want to go. I decided to have a gap year because I know I will be burned out in the first couple weeks of graduate school and I haven't taken any GRE tests. I don't exactly know what I want out of the graduate school, I don't want to waste my money and time studying for something in graduate school just to realize that I want something else.
Besides, it turns out that I don't have enough of research experiences to outcompete other applicants for graduate schools in my major (biology/zoology). So, I am taking an advantage of my gap year (or two) to earn some more research experiences... If I ever find any internships.
I also have a really bad case of the travel bug and I don't think I can stay still if I don't travel anytime soon. Because of my travel bug, I am looking into overseas volunteering opportunities to see if there is anything for me.
An overseas internship is my current gap year dream - the one I am not sure if it is even possible but I'll grab it immediately if the opportunity decided to show its face.
Until then.
