Day 2: List five places you want to visit
1. PERU. Ever since I heard my professor talked about Peru and about its national parks, I have always wanted to visit. Especially Yanachaga Chimillen and Manú for its various ecosystems. In Yanachaga Chimillen National park, there are seven different climatic zones!! Manú National Park is extremely well known for its biodiversity, especially bird species.
2. Kruger National Park. I mean... come on, do I have to explain? Although, I don't mind a road trip from Cape Town to Cairo. It can be done.
3. Hawaii. I want to go to Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge. It is hard to reach there, and taking a helicopter is only way to reach there. Also, there is a limit time period to permit visitors to come. So, it is virtually untouched by visitors.
4. Iceland. I want to see glaciers and eat that rotten shark meat. Oh, and the northern lights!
5. This is not a place per se. But a train is a place, right? I want to go on Venice Simplon Orient-Express train. I grew up watching Poirot on PBS Masterpiece, and he's always on train. Agatha Christie has based one of Poirot stories on this train, the Orient-Express. This train has route that goes through the heart of Europe. There are plenty of train trips I want to take (like Glacier Express or Mt. Washington Cog Railway), this one is foremost.
