It is official. I graduated.

Now, I can tell people I graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in biology. The most annoying thing I had to deal when I tell people that I major in biology is when people ask me if 'I want to be a doctor.'

No.

A vet?

No.

What are you doing with a biology degree?

I want to be a zoologist.

Oh. Working in a zoo?

No.

Then, what do you want to do?

To study animals, their behaviors, how climate change impacts their living situation, and such. Also, how changes in living situations of animals impact on us and how we impact on them as well. Circle of life, you know.

Oh... I see... Good luck.

Well, at least I have an internship going to Africa to looking forward to. I am going to work with carinviores, mostly lions. That should help me to get a head start on what I want to do in the future. Not exactly defined and sure future since I am still not sure if I am going. Nevertheless, if I am going, I'll make sure I wring every little experience from this trip. I am hoping (not the exact best idea to hope but whatever) that this trip will be my stepping stone to be a zoologist.
